Where is your clothing made?
Mater + Moon items are made in my creative studio in the beautiful, pacific northwest city of Beaverton, Oregon.
 

Do you accept wholesale orders?
Yes! Please e-mail me at materandmoon@gmail.com for any wholesale order inquiries.

All  fabrics are pre-washed to avoid shrinkage, however, I recommend that you wash hand-dyed garments separately in cold water for the first wash to avoid bleeding. To increase the dye and fabric longevity, clothing should be hand-washed or machine washed on a gentle cycle with cold water. After washing, lay flat or hang to dry, but if you’re machine drying, tumble dry on low is recommended.  While I make each garment is made with conscious thought, love and quality, construction details, handmade garments are made to be taken care of. 

What fabrics do you use?
At Mater + Moon, I strive to source sustainable fabrics made out of natural fibers such as cotton, linen, wool, hemp, and silk. While sourcing my materials, I place a focus on supporting and ordering from companies who value ethical, sustainable practices in their production facilities. 

What kind of dyes do you use?

How long will it take for you to make my handmade garment? When can I expect to receive my made to order garment? How long will stock items take to ship?
Made to order items may take 4-6 weeks to dye, cut, sew, finish, and package. I typically begin cutting your order within a week after it's received. If you purchase something made-to-order, please be sure to be accurate with your measurements, and if needed, please describe your specifications clearly and carefully. Please don't hesitate to reach out  if you have any questions or concerns in the interim! Stock items will ship within 7 days. All domestic orders are shipped by USPS priority mail after receiving cleared payment.All orders include tracking and you will receive a confirmation after payment. MATER + MOON is not responsible for packages once delivered to the Post Office. If you would like to purchase insurance, please contact us before purchasing.

What is your return policy?
Customers are responsible to revise and and inspect their orders once they receive them. Customers have 48 hours from the date of receipt to report any damages.
Made to order and custom items are final sale and non refundable. If you purchase something made-to-order, please be accurate with checking your measurements before ordering a garment. 
For health and safety reasons, mask orders are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
